If you are a go fast guy, maybe the highlifter isn't quite the right choice...

I just picked up an 850SP. If you are looking for a speed comparison, I saw 72MPH with it on the gravel road in front of my house last week. Still had throttle left.

55 mph, 7,700 rpm. Tough to do that in mud, tho.

Riders like to quote their top speed but forget to say the altitude that was at. Difference between sea level and 10'000 feet can be as much as 10 MPH. And tire size will make a big difference also.

In this case altitude will not affect top speed because it's rpm limited, the quad will reach top rpm regardless of altitude. And going to a 2 inch bigger tire only gets you about 2mph more

Ha HA, I have been in the process of mounting up and fitting 32.5 OL2's, and was thinking the exact same thing. The tire is roughly %10 bigger then my stock 29.5's, so, I was thinking %10 of 55mph is 5.5 mph, so my new top speed, should be, an incredible 60 mph give or take. MASSIVE top speed, no ATV faster on earth....:eek

So you're saying that if 2 bikes; 1000 cc and 400 cc have the same RPM they will both have the same top speed. If the 400 has an RPM 500 greater than a 1000 it will go faster.

Get rid of the 32.5 and go to 60's:newangel: Not even your guard-in-angel will keep up with you.

The 32.5'are mounted on the beadlock wheels, been riding them around the yard, and on the street. Yeah, the top speed thing..... the new wheel tire set up has pointed out in no small way, that I need new bushings all around. Squrrily x 2, not a good feeling, feeling like it will spit you off, or into the ditch..
